Kentucky Governor signs HB 10 into law

A House bill (HB10) has been signed into law by the Governor, finalizing changes to executive branch operations and declaring an emergency.

The legislation, titled "AN ACT relating to executive branch operations and declaring an emergency," aims to streamline certain administrative functions within state government. The bill's provisions are designed to enhance efficiency and responsiveness in key areas of governance.

Chief sponsor Representative J. Hodgson from District 36 led the effort, with co-authors including D. Meade and D. Osborne among others. The bill garnered support from eight additional co-sponsors.

The bill has been enrolled and signed by both the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate before being delivered to the Secretary of State for inclusion in Acts Chapter 178, marking its official passage into law.
