A House bill that aims to regulate real property appraisers has been signed into law by the Governor. The legislation, titled "AN ACT relating to real property appraisers," seeks to establish new standards and oversight for professionals in this field.

HB355 was chiefly sponsored by Representative S. McPherson from District 22, with co-sponsorship from G. Brown Jr. and M. Pollock. The bill has cleared both chambers of the Kentucky General Assembly after overcoming a gubernatorial veto through bipartisan support.

The bill has been enrolled and signed into law following its passage in both the House and Senate. It was delivered to the Secretary of State on April 13, 2026, completing the legislative process and becoming effective as law.
