Governor signs act relating to Kentucky State University into law
Governor Andy Beshear has signed SB185 into law, an act that makes several changes and declarations regarding Kentucky State University. The legislation includes provisions for emergency declarations and other administrative adjustments at the university.
The bill was chiefly sponsored by Senator C. McDaniel from District 123, with co-author D. Carroll also supporting it.
SB185 has been signed into law after passing both chambers of the General Assembly. It received concurrence in the Senate on March 31 and was enrolled and delivered to the Governor shortly thereafter. The bill was then signed by Governor Beshear on April 12, completing its legislative journey.
