Governor signs SB 192 into law
A Senate bill (SB192) has been signed into law by the Governor, declaring an emergency and making changes to local entities in Kentucky.
The bill, titled "AN ACT relating to local entities and declaring an emergency," aims to address urgent issues within local government structures. It includes provisions that are intended to provide immediate relief or action as deemed necessary by state officials.
Chief sponsor A. Mays Bledsoe from District 112 led the bill with co-author S. Madon. The legislation passed through both chambers without opposition, receiving unanimous support in the House and Senate.
The bill has now been signed into law after being enrolled and delivered to the Governor on March 30th. It was officially enacted as Acts Ch. 91 following its signature by the Governor on April 9th.
