Governor signs Senate bill 37 into law

A Senate bill to update Kentucky's state symbols has been signed into law by the Governor. The legislation, titled "AN ACT relating to state symbols," aims to add new official state symbols and modify existing ones.
The bill was passed by both chambers of the legislature after several readings and amendments. It includes provisions for adding new symbols such as a state insect and modifying the description of an existing symbol.
Senate Bill 37 has been enrolled and signed into law, completing its legislative journey through both the House and Senate before reaching the Governor's desk.
