A House bill (HF247) has passed through the Minnesota House and is now headed to the Senate for further consideration. The legislation aims to modify sales and storage requirements for nonoxygenated motor sports racing gasoline, aligning regulations with industry standards.

The bill, titled "Nonoxygenated Motor Sports Racing Gasoline Sales and Storage Requirements Modified," seeks to update existing laws governing the sale and storage of specialized racing fuels used in motorsports events. The changes are intended to ensure safety and compliance with modern practices within the racing community.

Representative Koznick is the chief sponsor of the bill, with Lang and Repinski as co-authors. The legislation has garnered support from two additional co-sponsors.

Having passed through the House, HF247 will now be considered by the Senate Commerce and Consumer Protection committee for further review and potential amendments before it can move forward in the legislative process.
