A House bill (HF320) has advanced after being passed by the Minnesota House of Representatives, allowing auto dealers to participate in auto shows and establishing guidelines for such events.

The legislation, titled "Auto dealers allowed to participate in auto shows and auto shows in which auto dealers may participate established," aims to regulate and facilitate the participation of auto dealers in auto shows. It outlines the conditions under which these dealers can exhibit vehicles at various automotive exhibitions.

Chief sponsor Representative Perryman is leading the bill, with support from four co-sponsors including Elkins and Frentz. The bill has now been referred to the Senate Commerce and Consumer Protection committee for further consideration.

The bill was passed by the House after multiple readings and a favorable committee report. It will now proceed to the Senate where it must be reviewed and approved before moving on to the Governor's desk for potential signature into law.
