House passes bill allowing Crane Lake water and sanitary district to have three-board members

A House bill has advanced allowing the Crane Lake Water and Sanitary District to have a three-member board of managers. The legislation, titled "Crane Lake Water and Sanitary District permitted to have a three-member board of managers," aims to adjust the current structure of the district's management.

The chief sponsor of the bill is Representative Skraba, with one co-author named Hauschild. This local governance change now moves forward for consideration in the Senate after passing through the House.

Having passed the House, HF438 has been referred to the State and Local Government committee in the Senate, where it will be reviewed next.
