Minnesota Senate bill SF 202 passes House and returns to Senate

By Alex Smith

A Senate bill aimed at establishing the Minnesota Partition Act has advanced after passing through the House of Representatives. The bill seeks to create a legal framework for partitioning property, providing clearer guidelines for dividing real estate among co-owners.

The chief sponsor of the bill is Senator Kreun, with support from co-authors including Duckworth and Feist. The bill's title, "Minnesota Partition Act Establishment," indicates its focus on setting up a new act to address property division issues.

Now that the House has passed SF202, it will return to the Senate for further consideration and potential final approval before moving on to the Governor for signature.
