Minnesota SF 334 presented to governor after unanimous House passage

By Alex Smith

Minnesota SF 334 passed both chambers of the Legislature and was presented to the governor on May 20, 2026. The bill would create a Human Services Systems Modernization Advisory Council and a Legislative Commission on Human Services Systems in the state.

The bill was sponsored by Wiklund along with eight co-sponsors. The House passed the measure on May 17, 2026, by a vote of 134-0. The Senate concurred with a House amendment and repassed the bill the same day, following a committee report recommending adoption as amended on May 16.
