Methodology

Cameras and incidents come directly from state transportation agencies (511 systems). Camera images are shown from the agency feed and are not stored by us. Incident history accrues from launch forward; we cannot backfill it. Scheduled construction and special events are filtered out, leaving crashes, debris and disabled vehicles.
