State government policy and finance measure passes and heads to governor

Minnesota's HF 4591, a state government policy and finance bill, has passed both chambers of the Legislature and was presented to the governor on May 20, 2026. The bill, as its title indicates, addresses state government policy and finance matters.
The bill was sponsored by Nash along with four co-sponsors. The House voted 113-20 to repass the bill on May 17, 2026, after the Senate returned it with an amendment.
